Where Fashion Meets Poetry
My journey with fashion began long before I understood what it truly was.
Since childhood, I have been deeply touched by art in all its forms, music, dance, poetry, painting, theatre, and photography.
Over time, fashion revealed itself as the language that could bring them all together: a way to express emotion through texture, movement, and form.
I have always been sensitive to fabrics.
To me, textiles were never just materials. They carried sensation and memory.
A garment could speak without words.
I studied fashion design and pattern making to deepen this passion, learning the foundations of craftsmanship and garment construction through ateliers and creative experiences.
Yet beyond technique, two inspirations have always guided me: nature and poetry.
From this meeting, Peauème was born.
The Meaning of the name
The name reflects the essence of the brand.
Peau, meaning skin, symbolizes sensation, intimacy, and the connection between the garment and the body.
ÈME, inspired by the word poème, evokes emotion, softness, and soul.
Together, they express a simple idea: a garment that touches both the skin and the spirit.
Each creation is imagined as a small story, a poem translated into fabric.
A Poetic Vision
With Peauème, I wanted to create more than clothing.
Each collection begins with a poem I write. From those words emerge silhouettes, textures, and volumes.
The garments become an extension of emotion,
something to wear, but also something to feel.
The pieces are fluid, timeless, and minimal. Soft shades of white, beige,
and natural tones create a calm universe where simplicity becomes elegance.
Conscious Creation
Peauème follows a philosophy of slow fashion.
Natural materials such as cotton, linen, wool, and silk are carefully selected,
while forgotten textile, curtains, lace,
or vintage fabrics are transformed through creative upcycling.
I also explore botanical dyes made from coffee, tea, or flowers, allowing organic colors
and natural imperfections to become part of the garment’s story.
Collections are produced in limited quantities, in collaboration with small local ateliers and artisans,
ensuring ethical production and the preservation of craftsmanship.
